To improve roadway safety, it is vital to design appropriate support parameters. In this study, 55 groups of numerical simulation schemes were designed using Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua of 3 dimensions(FLAC3D). These simulations were carried out to analyze the elastic strain energy and dissipated energy of the surrounding rock under various shotcrete layer supporting structure parameters and bolt supporting structure parameters. The study revealed that the isotropic and thickness properties of the surrounding rock can significantly impact the energy evolution. Surrounding rock energy evolution characteristics were also found to be influenced by bolt support structure of grout stiffness and cross-sectional area young. Additionally, increasing parameters for shotcrete layer support structure does not lead to better outcomes. Furthermore, it was discovered that dissipated energy and elastic strain energy are higher when isotropic is 100 GPa compared with 25 GPa, this shows that "endless" increases in the parameters of a particular retaining structure can even have a negative impact. This study can provide a reference for the design of support parameters
