摘要
Due to its flexibility, dockless bike sharing (DBS) becomes a solution for ‘first and last mile’ problem, especially in the central business district (CBD) of Beijing where daily commuting highly relies on DBS. This paper evaluates the impact of factors, such as built environment, public transportation facilities, and time of day, on the usage of DBS in CBD. First, temporal and spatial distributions of CBD trips are analyzed, showing that the usage of DBS is highly influenced by time of day. The daily regression model and the time-dependent regression model are estimated, indicating the mixed area, public transportation facilities, and the number of office buildings is significant positive predictors for trip production. Further, considering the interaction effect with time of day, results show a significant impact difference between morning and afternoon peak hours, discovering more aspects of interaction effect on the impact of DBS usage in afternoon peak hours.
