Improving urban slow-moving transport facilities and increasing the proportion of slow-moving transport trips is an important way to promote sustainable urban transport development and low-carbon travel.Previous planning and design of urban road space was usually based on traffic flow parameters such as flow, density and speed, and lacked the perspective of the traveller. This paper proposes a measure of traffic traveller satisfaction with the slow-moving road space as the target, drawing on economic customer satisfaction theory. Designing the questionnaire for the on-site survey, and use the slow travel system in Linzhang County, Handan City as a case study, the satisfaction questionnaire data of slow travelers was collected by a sample survey method. Statistical analysis of traveller characteristics to filter the five influencing factors of traveller expectations, road construction level, safety, accessibility and environmental comfort and 13 measurements. Multiple ordered logistic regression analysis was conducted on this survey data using SPSS software.Research shows safety is an important factor in satisfaction with slow-moving transport travel, the machine and non-separation facilities have the greatest impact on safety satisfaction, with an impact factor of 0.786. Secondly, there is the non-motorway sign marking with an impact factor of 0.509.Taking these factors into account in the planning and design of a slow-moving transport system can help to improve satisfaction with slow-moving transport, improving the environment for slow travel and promoting the scientific, harmonious and sustainable development of the urban transport system.
