摘要
Repetitive pulsed magnetic field has important applications in high-power terahertz gyrotron technology. Fast cooling magnet is the key to realize high repetition rate pulsed magnetic field. A rapidly cooling magnet for repetitive pulsed magnetic field has been designed. The fast cooling magnet has distributed cooling channels. Each layer of the force-bearing unit of the coil is provided with a cooling channel. The multiphysics coupled model for fast cooling magnets is established. The calculation results show that the cooling efficiency of the fast cooling magnet is 11 times that of the conventional coil. The maximum stress of the magnet is 2.45 GPa. A magnet winding process was developed that added grid cooling channels for each layer of conductors.
