Abstract:In recent years, the government has increased its support for shared transportation and green travel. The promotion of carpooling has achieved great results in easing traffic congestion and reducing carbon emissions, which has brought convenience to passenger travel and been widely recognized by the public. However, improper legal supervision, frequent security issues, and reduced passenger trust have become a common development dilemma for carpooling platforms. Facing the fierce competition from other carpooling platforms, how to attract and retain passengers and continuously increase the demand for carpooling has become an urgent problem for Didi Taxi. In this paper, literature research and questionnaire survey are used to determine the influencing factors, fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method is used to screen and determine the weight of each influencing factor. In addition, a simulation model for the influence of demand on the interaction between various factors centered on the passenger’s carpool demand system is constructed. Through the parameter change and sensitivity analysis, the impact of different influencing factors on the carpool demand is compared and analyzed. Through system simulation, it is found that improving the service level of carpooling travel, strengthening the construction of word-of-mouth, reducing the travel cost of passengers, and further ensuring the safety of passenger carpool travel and improving the trust of passengers have become an important way for the development of car-drop travel of Didi Platform.
