Asset securitization is a major innovation in the financial market, which promotes the sustainable development of expressway PPP projects in China. Asset securitization attracts social capital into expressway PPP projects, increasing the liquidity of funds, but there are also some problems in the specific implementation process. Therefore, this paper intends to discuss the feasibility and necessity of asset securitization for expressway PPP projects, the problems existing in asset securitization for expressway PPP projects, and the policy suggestions for safe and orderly asset securitization for expressway PPP projects.
