The main purpose of this study is to improve the degree of automation, efficiency and accuracy of the sorting system.This research first designs the express image acquisition platform, through the image processing method to realize the express address information automatic identification acquisition. In view of the problems of bar code area Angle inclination and geometric distortion in the collected images, firstly, the image is restored through tilt correction and perspective transformation, and then according to the geometric features and one-way mathematical features of bar code, the bar code area is effectively located and divided from the image information background of Courier by image processing operation. Finally, according to the coding principle of bar code, the method of calculating the width of the bar code is adopted to achieve decoding, obtain the barcode digital information, and interact with the express query website to obtain the express address information.This study has realized the extraction, decoding and address recognition of the barcode at any Angle on the express image, which provides an effective method for the full automation of the express sorting system and has certain practical application value.
