摘要
In order to ensure the driving safety of sections with median-strip caused insufficient sight distance in mountainous highways and take the project cost into account, the spatial distribution characteristics of traffic accidents is analyzed using the accident data of sections with median-strip caused insufficient sight distance in Zhejiang expressways. The paper employed the driving behavior theory and traffic information processing mode to explain the existence and formation mechanism of dangerous driving areas based on characteristics of vehicles' speed and trajectory. The sections with median-strip caused insufficient sight distance in highways is divided into low-risk, medium-risk and high-risk sections based on traffic accident risk.
