摘要
The research on the bonding properties between asphalt and aggregates is of great significance to the fatigue damage and disease prevention of roads. Through the shear test on aggregate-asphalt-aggregate specimens, the shear mechanics behavior of asphalt-aggregate interface phase was investigated under the synergistic effect of temperature and thickness of asphalt film, and the synergistic influence range of temperature and thickness of asphalt film about single-peak curves (SPCs) and double-peak curves (DPCs) was obtained. The probability relationships of SPCs and DPCs to temperature and thickness of asphalt film were acquired from the experiment. It was found that the failure modes of asphalt-aggregate interface were adhesion failure and cohesion failure. The main rules were as follows: 1) The cohesion of asphalt was significantly affected by temperature. When the temperature was low, the cohesion of asphalt increased, and the failure of asphalt-aggregate interface phase is characterized by adhesion failure. However, the failure is characterized by cohesion failure. 2) The influence of asphalt film thickness on the failure behavior of asphalt-aggregate interface phase is that the greater the thickness of asphalt film, the greater the probability of cohesion failure, and the smaller the thickness of asphalt film, the greater the probability of adhesion failure.
