The layout plan of temporary facilities for traditional road construction sites is mainly based on expert experience. However, due to the complicated terrain conditions of the construction site during the design process of the layout plan, the relevant experts lack comprehensive understanding of the geographical features of the site, which is easy to cause. The site layout plan does not apply to the actual construction process, resulting in loss of construction period and cost. In order to make the expert's construction experience more intuitively displayed in the site layout design, this paper combines building information model (BIM) technology and virtual reality (VR) technology, using unity3D software as a platform for building virtual reality scenes, and constructing interactive The visualized construction site temporary facility layout decision support system describes the architecture and modules of the system, as well as the application process, functions and implementation process. The system can use virtual reality technology to break through the constraints of physical space and time, and realize the three-dimensional realistic feeling of “beyond reality”, which not only allows users to feel the real existence in virtual fantasy, but also allows users to perform real-time in virtual fantasy. The interaction enables the decision-makers of the construction site layout plan to accurately control the construction of the entire project from the overall to the local, avoiding mistakes in decision-making, and achieving scientific and rational deployment of temporary facilities.
