摘要
In order to effectively prevent and control the rutting of asphalt pavement, it is very important to accurately evaluate the high temperature stability of asphalt mixture. At present, in view of the high temperature performance evaluation of asphalt mixture, based on the traditional rutting test, there are many new test methods, such as dynamic repeated creep test. In order to evaluate the suitability of each test method for evaluating the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture, this paper takes dynamic repetitive creep test, uniaxial penetration test and coaxial direct shear test as the research object. Based on the analysis of test mechanisms of the test methods, this paper made a comparative analysis of three new test methods for evaluating the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture. Secondly, the test conditions of each test method are compared and analyzed. Finally, six typical asphalt mixtures, SMA13, AC13, SAC13, EME14, SUP20 and BRAC20, were mixed indoors, and the high temperature performance of mixtures were tested using the three new test methods. Through comparative analysis of the test results, the results show that: the indoor test results of uniaxial penetration test and coaxial direct shear test were coincide with the actual pavement performance of the mixture. Furthermore, the uniaxial penetration test is simple to operate, and suitable for indoor forming of standard size specimens and field coring specimens, so it is more suitable as a test method to evaluate the high temperature performance of asphalt mixture.
