摘要
Given the difference in body size and dynamic performance between passenger cars and trucks, they have inconsistent road demand. The radius of horizontal curve of the truck-only interchange ramp (TOIR) is one of the key indicators affecting the steering safety of the truck. The current standard on the minimum radius of horizontal curve in China do not take into account the separation of passenger cars and trucks (SPCT). In this paper, the six-axis articulated truck with full load state (SATFS) is selected as designed vehicle. Combined with its dynamic performance, by analyzing the body tilt rate of SATFS and the elastic deformation caused by the suspension device, a vehicle steering mechanics model based on rigid-flexible coupling effect is established. The minimum radius of horizontal curve of the TOIR in general area is respectively proposed. By comparison, the proposed value is generally larger than the value in the current standard. Finally, the rationality of the proposed value of the minimum radius of horizontal curve of TOIR is verified by Trucksim software simulation experiment. The verification results show that the proposed value is reasonable, and it is suitable for TOIR.
Key words: separation of passenger cars and trucks (SPCT); minimum radius of horizontal curve; rigid-flexible coupling effect; Trucksim software simulation; the truck-only interchange ramp (TOIR)
