Structural Mechanical Response of Basalt Fiber Asphalt Pavement under a Half-Sinusoidal Load

摘要
In this paper, ANSYS finite element software was used to establish a three-dimensional finite element model of pavement structure. Dynamic load was applied to study the influence of axle load and vehicle speed on mechanical indexes of asphalt pavement structure. The results show that the mechanical indexes such as shear stress, tensile strain, tensile stress of the base layer and compressive strain on the top of the subgrade of the basalt fiber asphalt pavement structure are improved to different degrees than ordinary asphalt pavement. Under dynamic load, the compressive strain on the top of subgrade and shear stress of the basalt fiber asphalt pavement at 120km/h are reduced by 8.4% and 12.12% respectively compared with 60km/h; When the axle load is 100KN, the maximum shear stress of surface layer, the tensile stress at the bottom of the subbase layer and the compressive strain on the top of the subgrade in basalt fiber asphalt pavement are reduced by 2.54%, 2.66% and 2.56%, respectively, compared with ordinary asphalt pavement.
