摘要
In order to solve the defect of transverse cracks in the base that constituted by cement stabilized macadam, the expansion is designed to fill up cracks which produced by the interaction of titanium gypsum and fly ash. In the process of research, laboratory tests of pavement performance are needed .And, the practical application of water-stabilized base can only be carried out when the tests meet the required requirements. The pavement performance tests were carried out in five aspects: unconfined compressive strength, dynamic modulus of resilience, fatigue test and small full-scale test. These experiments are used to discuss the practical application feasibility of titanium gypsum which resist to transverse cracks in water-stabilized macadam. The experimental results show that the unconfined compressive strength, dynamic modulus of resilience and fatigue properties would decrease with the increase of the amount of titanium gypsum. Therefore, the best mixing proportion can be obtained through indoor pavement performance experiments to meet the requirements of pavement base construction technical specifications; It can be seen from the small full-scale test that there is an obviously expansive trend after adding titanium gypsum. The crack resistance of water-stabilized base is greatly improved because that the expansion increases the internal compactness and internal stress.
