摘要
Due to the acceleration of urban development and unreasonable traffic planning, there are a number of small spacing misaligned intersections which the major road intersect with branches that seriously affects the transportation efficiency of the urban road network and the operational safety of the vehicles. In order to ensure the porper and safe operation of the vehicle in the misaligned intersections, this research studies the node spacing values at different design speeds and different lane numbers for the double T-shaped misaligned intersections. Firstly in the research, the definition of the misaligned intersections node spacing is defined. Considering five relevant factors: waiting for the insertable gap, judgment of lane change condition, lane change distance, deceleration and stop distance and queue length. Secondly, based on the running trajectory of the vehicle, the calculation model of the misaligned intersection node spacing is established; According to the characteristics and limiting factors of the vehicle lanes changing behavior, a fifth-order polynomial lane changing model is established and the relevant parameters in the polynomial are solved. Based on above, the calculation model of the the misaligned intersections node spacing is established, and the node spacing values at different design speeds are calculated. Finally, through the Vissim simulation software, the rationality of the calculated node spacing value is verified and corrected. The results show that when the design speed is greater than 40km/h, the recommended value obtained by the node spacing calculation model can ensure the safe and porper running of the vehicle; When the design speed is less than or equal to 40km/h, the number of vehicle collisions in the misaligned intersection reaches the safety critical lower limit of the evaluation index, and corresponding safety guarantee measures should be taken at the misaligned intersection.
