摘要
To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of maintenance treatments for asphalt pavement, two kinds of treatments, including hot in-place recycling, milling and resurfacing, were analyzed. First, the effectiveness was evaluated by multiple regression analysis, according to the data of International Roughness Index(IRI) and rutting depth (RD) collected in Jiangsu Province in China. It was found that the hot in-place recycling possesses better effectiveness, comparable to the milling and resurfacing. In addition, the cost-effectiveness analyses were conducted as annual average effectiveness and the ratio of benefit to costs. Here, the costs, mainly involving material costs, was estimated by net present value. Results indicate that milling and resurfacing owns the worse cost-effectiveness. Consequently, the cost-effectiveness analyses are applicable for maintenance treatments evaluation and the estimated results provide a theoretical guideline for performance-based maintenance system.
