摘要
As the bottleneck of urban road network, plane intersection determines the smoothness of traffic flow. In order to eliminate the heterogeneity of drivers in the intersection dilemma area and ensure smooth driving trajectory, a method based on parking line to eliminate the dilemma area is proposed in this paper. On the premise of guaranteeing the empty queue, this method determines the minimum parking line position twice, and eliminates the dilemma area by using double parking lines. Reasonable change of the parking line distance from the intersection can effectively improve the level of traffic safety at the intersection. VISSIM simulation shows that the parking line dilemma elimination method can significantly reduce the rate of vehicle violations at intersections, reduce vehicle conflicts and save energy consumption.
