In order to reveal the relationship between rural road and county economy, the co-integration relationship is empirically analyzed between rural road and county economy in Jidong County by virtue of the methods of econometrics theory including ADF test, Johansen test, Granger causality test and error correction model. It provides a scientific basis for the planning of rural road and the coordinated development of county economy and society. The test results prove that the time series data of rural road mileage, passenger transport turnover and GDP is the one order single integer sequence. There is a long-term equilibrium and causality relationship between rural road and county economy based on the time series data from 2007 to 2018. The delay period of rural road mileage and passenger transport turnover has a greater impact on economy development in Jidong County.
