摘要
Low-carbon travel, including walking, bicycling, and the usage of public transit has become an effective way to reduce carbon emissions, while transport sector accounts for 23% of global carbon emissions, which is the second largest sector after electricity and heat generation. Taking the low-carbon travel survey data of urban residents in Zhenjiang as an example, this paper comprehensively used the exploratory factor analysis method in multivariate statistics, analyzed the key factors of urban low-carbon travel, and explores the potential between 26 different traffic accident indicators and key factors. This paper extracted five key factors as key influencing factors for urban low-carbon travel and named these five key factors. The key factors affecting urban low-carbon travel are the traveler personal attribute (contribution rate 31.646%), the satisfaction of the travel process (contribution rate 17.438%), the attitude of low-carbon travel and environmental awareness (16.090%), the development level of public transportation system (10.793%) and the traveler family overall attributes (10.561%). The research results provide a theoretical basis for the future concept and implementation of urban low-carbon travel.
