摘要
With the rapid development of social economy and the continuous improvement of people's living standards, the number of private cars in China has been increasing year by year. Meanwhile, the conflicts of parking demand and supply become more severe. Shopping malls, hospitals, recreation centers, which are hot spots of parking demand, the phenomenon is much more evident. Planning temporary parking lots is one of the effective ways to alleviate the parking problem when the parking supply available can’t meet the parking demand. Taking parking activities around hot spots of parking demand as the research object, this paper determines the supersaturated parking demand within the study area through traffic survey. Based on driver parking preference and geographic information system (GIS) spatial data analysis, the optimization model of temporary parking lot location is constructed. Finally, the optimal scheme of temporary parking is determined to alleviate the problem of parking difficulties in cities.
