摘要
Electric vehicle (EV) is the future of urban mobility as the world being stepping into the era of fossil fuel crisis. To create a repository for this near future, many researchers have studied the energy consumption characteristics of EVs. Most of previous studies are focused on electric passenger cars because there were not sufficient data for electric heavy-duty vehicles. In this study, we utilized the energy consumption data from three electric buses that have been operated in Chattanooga, Tennessee as a valuable basis to establish electricity consumption models of electric heavy-duty vehicles, which are crucial for charging station planning and charging schedule planning in the emerging EV facilities planning. Linear regression models and neural network models are established to predict the second-by-second energy consumption rate of electric buses.
