In recent years, the contradiction between people's increasing diversified traffic mobility demand and social resources, energy and environment scarce supply has become more and more prominent. MaaS provides a more sustainable alternative to the private use of the car. It has been highly valued by the national government, relevant industry ministries and local cities. In order to assess the readiness of a city for MaaS implementation in China, firstly the paper fully drew on the experiences of international researches on MaaS maturity index and MaaS existing typical cases . Based on this and combined with the status quo and characteristics of the development of urban transport in China, MaaS maturity index of Chinese cities had been established from tranport operators open attitude, people willingness, ICT infrastructures, government supporting policies and regulations , data sharing and so on. based on the National development strategy of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, case analysis of MaaS maturity evaluation had been carried out in Guangzhou. Finally, the suggestions had been propounded for some cities which could have insufficient readiness for MaaS implementation.
