The extraction of lane lines is a key link in advanced driver assist systems (ADAS) and is related to the realization of ADAS. Based on the literature research, this paper classifies the existing lane detection technology, and points out the advantages and disadvantages of the prior art. Finally, the problem that the lane-based detection technology based on machine vision is susceptible to the external environment is proposed solution.
