Based on the iterative proportional update (IPU) algorithm, the feasibility analysis of the sampling expansion of the WeChat survey data of Shenzhen residents in 2016 is carried out. Firstly, the resident travel survey data is transformed into sample data, and marginal distribution of various attributes is obtained by the IPU algorithm. Households in the sample is randomly drew by the Monte Carlo method as simulated output households, and finally the individual attribute data of the resident are obtained.
