摘要
The reasonable distance between adjacent intersections of urban road has a positive impact on improving road traffic efficiency, but there is no reasonable regulation on it in the current standard. In order to control the intersection spacing of urban roads reasonably, the minimum spacing of intersection nodes of urban trunk roads was studied. Firstly, the distance between intersection nodes of urban roads was defined. Secondly, taking the urban two-way six lane road as the research object, the paper analyzed the driving demand of left turning vehicles on the main road between two adjacent intersections, and the calculation model of the minimum distance between intersection nodes was established. Finally, based on the traffic flow theory, driving behavior characteristics, lane changing model and queuing theory, the recommended minimum spacing of intersection nodes was proposed. The results show that the minimum spacing of intersection nodes of urban trunk road increases with the increase of design speed, and the greater the design speed, the faster the growth rate.
