摘要
Abstract: An evaluation system which comprehensively considers the multi-factors of driver, vehicle and highway elements, can objectively reflect the operation state of the road in reality. The paper established a simulation system based on comprehensive consideration of Driver-Vehicle-Highway system (DVH). Through the use of vehicle dynamics software ADAMS (Automatic Dynamic Analysis of Mechanical Systems), the really operation status of vehicle was simulated and various performance parameters were outputted by the simulation system. The experimental parameters were analyzed using nonlinear mathematics. By reverse study to the sensitive indexes, highway geometric design parameters could be safely optimized. The purpose of simulation was to find out the sensitive indexes of vehicle dynamics parameters which affected driving safety. To establish this simulation system, three subsystems, including vehicle model, highway model and driver model, were created, respectively. And then through assembling and verifying, the comprehensive simulation system was built and used for simulation analysis. A simulation case showed that six dynamics indexes were sensitive to the changes of curve radius, including lateral acceleration, roll angle, steering wheel torque, and steering wheel angular velocity, yaw rate and sideway force coefficient. Finally, via calibrating thresholds of dynamics indexes, safety evaluation for highway geometric design can be achieved.
