摘要
With the increase of urban scale and rapid development of transportation, the intercity travel is more convenient, and the hub plays a crucial role in the urban transportation system. It’s necessary for researchers to analyze travel demand between transport hubs and understand passenger behavior on spatiotemporal. Traditional travel survey methods are difficult to apply to the research between hubs. This paper proposes a method based on mobile phone data to calculate the passenger travel OD between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban megalopolis hubs, and analyzes the spatial and temporal law of passenger travel between Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei urban megalopolis. Firstly, we proposed an approach to extract passenger trips information among hubs from mobile phone data. Secondly, we described the travel characteristics of passenger on spatiotemporal. Finally, understanding the spatial and temporal distribution of passenger among urban megalopolis to predict traffic demand. In this paper, we applied this method to a typical case: Beijing West Railway Station - Zhengding Airport. The results show that mobile phone data has great potential for studying passenger travel among megalopolis.
