The driver negotiates curves based on the tangent point of inner lane boundary according to previous research. However, there are few studies about the driver's fixation process in the curve. Hence, this study focused on the analysis of the driver's fixation distribution and fixation transition at three different speeds (40km/h、60km/h、80km/h) when driving on a secondary road curve. In this experimental study, the driving simulator and the head-mounted eye tracker were used to collect the gaze behaviors of three drivers, to analyze gaze distribution and the fixation transition. The results show that the frequency of the driver repeatedly fixation at the tangent point increases with the speed under the same road curvature condition.
