摘要
Compared with dry pavements, drivers' perception and control of speed on slippery pavements are quite different due to the reduction of road friction coefficient, which is also a major cause of traffic accidents on slippery bends. The effective prediction of speed when driving in slippery bends can avoid the traffic accidents to some extent. This paper will use the driving data collected through driving simulation experiment to analyze the main factors affecting the speed of the car when driving in slippery bends. And through the recursive method, a speed model that can predict the vehicle speed on slippery bends based on cubic-spline curve can be built. The speed model can be used as a gist to road design and recognition of dangerous driving behaviour on slippery bends.
