Based on the traffic conflict between buses and non-motorized vehicles in bus stations area, the paper is concerned on the riding characteristics of non-motorized vehicles and influencing factors. Firstly, the riding characteristics of non-motorized vehicles in bus stations area were investigated and analyzed. The path distribution of non-motorized vehicles is analyzed and the micro-behavior law of non-motorized vehicles in bus station area is revealed. Then, focusing on lane changing behavior of non-motorized vehicles, the Cox proportional hazard model is constructed, and the influence of five factors such as the proportion of bicycles on the non-motorized vehicles lane changing behavior is studied. The result shows that different influencing factors have different correlations with probability of lane changing, which can provide a basis for traffic improvement and assessment in bus stations area.
