摘要
A finite element model simulating the interlayer bonding conditions of asphalt pavement was established. Thirty-five values of friction coefficients from zero to 500 were used as input parameters to analyze the interlayer conditions' influence on different layers' shear stress distribution. The factors affecting shear stress were analyzed. The orthogonal design and variance analysis of those factors' effect on shear stress was then carried out. The result shows that the interlayer bonding conditions significantly change the shear stress distribution in the asphalt pavement. The value of the friction coefficient from 1 to 0 cannot represent the change of the interlayer bonding conditions from full to partial bonding. The value of the friction coefficient is redefined based on the shear stress distribution. The contact conditions between the base and the asphalt layer significantly impact the lower layer's shear stress. Still, the contact conditions between asphalt layers affect the entire surface layer.
