Abstract: In order to accelerate the development of provincial low-carbon transportation, this study analyzes and discusses the carbon emission of the transportation sector. Choice of Shaanxi province as the research object, the transport carbon emissions in 2000-2017 and its influence factor for measurement and analysis, first of all to transport carbon emissions, carbon emissions intensity and carbon efficiency as indicators for measuring carbon emissions present situation analysis, and then select for turnover, total population, per capita GDP and the factors influencing the efficiency of carbon for carbon emissions analysis indicators, use STIRPAT model, ordinary least squares regression analysis and ridge regression analysis. The results show that the carbon emission potential of transportation in Shaanxi province is increasing, and the introduction of low-carbon development technology should be strengthened to improve the carbon emission efficiency, so as to further promote the development level of green transportation in Shaanxi province.
