From the perspective of exploring the impact of marketization reforms on private investment in transportation infrastructure PPP projects, this paper collected the provincial panel data from 2000 to 2017 in our country, and perspectively from national and regional levels researched the relationship of marketization process and private investment in transportation infrastructure PPP projects. The study found that at the national level, the process of marketization at this stage is conducive to increasing private investment in transportation infrastructure PPP projects. At the regional level, the higher degree of marketization in the eastern region is conducive to attracting more private investment in transportation infrastructure PPP projects, while the lower level of marketization in the central and western regions is due to the location disadvantage, and transportation infrastructure PPP projects are less attractive to private investment. Based on this, this paper also puts forward some suggestions for implementing the PPP mode and marketization reforms.
