The quantitative change of passenger transportation can be specifically expressed as the changes that is the number of trips and distance. With the continuous development of the social economy in China, the number of trips per passenger per year and trip distance have increased significantly in recent years. Different passengers transportation needs also reflect different social economic development levels to a certain extent. This paper studied the interaction between economic and transportation system by taking Shaanxi Province of China as an example. This paper quantified the impact of annual per capita passenger trips on the level of regional economic development, by using the theory of correlation analysis, regression analysis and SPSS software.
