Transportation is an important pillar of a city's development. The development of urbanization has brought unprecedented pressure and challenge to urban traffic, and traffic congestion is becoming more and more serious. Residents pay more and more attention to the reliability of travel, among which the reliability of travel time becomes one of the most important factors influencing travelers' choice of route. In this paper, travel time reliability (TTR) model is established by studying the travel time reliability of residents, hoping to help residents choose reasonable and effective travel time, travel path and travel mode. This not only improves the reliability of residents' travel, avoids the waste of travel time, but also reduces the unnecessary traffic and improves the problem of urban traffic congestion. Finally, on the basis of this study, an idea is proposed to establish an urban traffic information platform, which can provide completely personalized travel plans according to travelers' different needs and seamlessly connect different transportation modes. Make the whole transportation system more orderly and efficient, and maximize the overall benefits.
