Shimen Reservoir is located in Taoyuan City, Taiwan Province, and the ground surface is fragmented and lithologically vulnerable along the reservoir area. To identify the local landslide geological hazard level, the lithology, distance from water, slope, aspect, Normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI), plane curvature, and geological boundary density were selected as conditioning factors at the GIS platform. Then, we create the landslide susceptibility maps using the information value method and analytic hierarchical process. The results of the receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) indicate that the landslide sensitivity map has high accuracy and can provide some reference for the local government in the field of landslide disaster mitigation.
