Monitoring and Early Warning Analysis of Bedding Rock Landslide Induced by Rainfall in the Three Gorges Reservoir——A Case Study of Xiaoyantou Landslide
the Three Gorges Reservoir; Rainfall; Bedding Rock Landslide; Monitoring and Early Warning
A landslide occurred in Xianyantou,Zigui, the Three Gorges Reservoir area,at 3:10 a.m. on August 28,2021,resulting in the damage of three rural houses and power supply equipment, destroying roads, and affecting the travel of 320 people.Xiaoyantou landslide,a rock bedding landslide, takes only 10 hours from accelerated deformation to final failure. For this sudden landslide, how to monitor and early warning is a hot topic and difficulty of research. This paper, taking xiaoyantou landslide as the research object, according to the investigation data and rainfall data, systematically analyzes the deformation and failure characteristics of xiaoyantou landslide, and studies the impact of rainfall on rock bedding landslide and the monitoring and early warning method of sudden rock bedding landslide.Research shows that stratum and slope structure provide good material basis and topographic conditions for xiaoyantou landslide.Rainfall is the main inducing factor of xiaoyantou landslide. If a heavy rainfall or 10-day cumulative rainfall is lower than 148mm,the landslide deformation is slow or even not deformed. When the 10-day cumulative rainfall exceeds 148mm,it quickly enters the accelerated deformation stage.Due to the deformation each part of the landslide mass is different, the monitoring equipment should be reasonably arranged.Based on the cumulative displacement and the rate of deformation, combined with rainfall data and fissures, this paper divides four early warning stages. The research results provide a reference for the monitoring and early warning of sudden rock bedding landslide in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
