At present, the existing reservoir stress model in the hydrate drilling process cannot reflect the influence of pipe-soil interaction on the reservoir stress, so is not suitable for the mining process. This paper considers the time-varying nature of pipe-soil interaction and the dynamic changes of reservoir parameters during the mining process, and constructs a reservoir stress model for hydrate mining.Case study shows that the effective stresses in the radial and circumferential directions during the mining process show stress concentration and stress reduction, respectively, which are contrary to the stress distribution law during the drilling process.
