Abstract: As the Single flow deflector vertical cambered otter board is widely used in trawl fishing, the research on the hydrodynamic performance of this net plate is beneficial to determine the relevant working parameters of the net plate during fishing, such as lift coefficient CL, drag coefficient CD, lift to drag ratio K, Angle of attack (AOA) and pitching moment change with the angle of attack, the hydrodynamic performance of the otter boards is improved to obtain more catches. The mathematical model was established through the parameters of the practical Single flow deflector vertical cambered otter board from the Engineering Center of Zhejiang Ocean University. The lift coefficient of the otter boards was analyzed when the angle of attack was 0°~60°, and the conclusion was drawn that when the angle is 20~35°, CL of the Single flow deflector vertical cambered otter board reaches the maximum. As the angle of attack increases, CL begins to decrease, which is consistent with the results of the tank experiment verified by LIU Jian and HUANG Hongliang. Due to the density and viscosity of the water in the actual simulation experiment will change to a certain extent, the second reason should also be included in the water tank experiment. The speed of the otter boards water cannot really maintain constantly, which is also caused by the main reason for the error, the computer numerical simulation adopted at this time completely eliminates the influence of these undesirable factors on the results, which provides a reference not only for the optimization of the hydrodynamic performance of these two types of screens but also for other types of screens. in accordance with.
