In this paper, particles with different particle size compounded with SDS solution were used to study the hydrate formation at 275.15K and 7MPa. The storage capacity of the hydrate in the porous medium and the SDS complex system is larger than that in the pure SDS solution. The silica particles and the alumina particles have significant effect in the formation of the hydrate and the gas storage capacity respectively. It can be concluded that the application of the porous material as a hydrate-forming matrix is an effective way to increase the gas storage capacity.
