Thrust Optimization of Primary Permanent Magnet Linear Motor with Magnetic Barrier Coupling Based on Halbach Distribution

摘要
As one of the main driving components of linear rail transportation, linear motors have attracted wide attention from scholars at home and abroad because of their high efficiency, precise positioning, simple structure and small size. The magnetic barrier coupling primary permanent magnet linear motor has a good magnetic field coupling effect due to its secondary magnetic barrier structure, and the armature winding and permanent magnet are placed on the primary side to reduce the cost, but the motor has a thrust under long stroke and large air gap conditions. Problems such as small and large thrust pulsation restrict its promotion and application. Therefore, this paper introduces Halbach permanent magnet arrays with four different arrangements into the Magnetic Barrier Coupled Primary Permanent Magnet Linear Motor (MBCPPMLM) and uses three methods: modulation ratio optimization, slot pole number optimization, and additional magnetizing blocks to suppress the motor's edge Effect, complete the optimization design and analysis of thrust and thrust pulsation. After overall optimization, the thrust of the four types of H-MBCPPMLM is increased by more than 12% compared with MBCPPMLM, and the thrust pulsation is reduced by more than 20% compared with that before optimization. Compared with the ordinary Salient Pole Primary Permanent Magnet Linear Motor with alternating up and down magnetization, the 18/22H-MBCPPMLM with six pole-spaced permanent magnets for each pair of poles has a thrust increase of 16.6% and a reduction of thrust pulsation by 21.9%. The research results prove the feasibility of the optimization method and provide a reference for the further promotion of the magnetic barrier coupled primary permanent magnet linear motor.
