摘要
Based on the multi-branch inverter topology, this paper presents the model predictive thrust force control (MPTFC) by adopting optimal active voltage vector dwell time for the modular permanent magnet synchronous linear motor. It forces on the thrust ripple reduction and efficiency improvement of the modular linear drive system. The topology of the drive system and operating principle is investigated, and a discrete-time model of the modular PMSLM is established. Considering the multiple operating mode, the different multi-mode cost functions are designed. The multiple weight coefficients are analyzed and chosen to optimize the operating demand of the drive system. The results indicate that the proposed MPTFC method reduces the thrust force ripple significantly, and the drive system has high efficiency and better steady performance compared to the conventional drive system.
