Alexander Hoffmann was born in Hannover, Germany in September 1991. He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Leibniz Universitat Hannover in March 2017. He has been a research associate at the Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics in Hannover since April 2017. His main research interests include prediction of and measures against parasitic effects in electrical machines and drive systems. In addition, he is responsible for the electromagnetic design within the interdisciplinary project Speed4E which aims at using high-speed electric machines in battery electric-vehicles.
