To realize the active vibration reduction of the suspension, the linear motor is used as the actuator of the active suspension of the automobile. On this basis, this paper proposes an improved duty cycle model predictive current control (DCMPCC) for linear motors. The new scheme combines the voltage vector pre-selection scheme and the construction of the auxiliary voltage vector. To overcome the shortcoming that the traditional DCMPCC only has 6 selectable non-zero vectors, a new 12 auxiliary voltage vectors are constructed to increase the number of candidate voltage vectors. The newly added voltage vector will reduce torque ripple and current harmonics. At the same time, to avoid 24 iterations caused by the newly added auxiliary vector, the traditional basic voltage vector space is re-divided. The newly divided 12 sectors can be pre-positioned by the reference voltage vector, reducing the iterations to 3 times. The reference voltage vector is obtained based on the deadbeat principle. The experimental results prove the effectiveness of the proposed scheme.
