Glutenite reservoir has become an important target of oil and gas exploration at home and abroad. In recent years, China has successively discovered many glutenite reservoirs, such as the sandy conglomerate reservoir of Paleogene Wenchang Formation in Lufeng oilfield, the sandy conglomerate reservoir of qie12 area in kunbei oilfield, the Paleogene sandy conglomerate reservoir in Huizhou sag, the Permian sandy conglomerate reservoir in Mahu sag, and so on. Especially after the discovery of 1 billion ton glutenite reservoir in Mahu sag, Junggar basin, it further promoted the study of glutenite reservoir. With the progress of imaging logging technology, nuclear magnetic resonance logging technology, natural gamma ray spectroscopy technology and seismic technology, some progress has been made in the sedimentary environment of glutenite reservoir, physical characteristics of glutenite reservoir, control factors of glutenite reservoir and evaluation criteria of glutenite reservoir. This paper systematically summarizes the sedimentary environment, control factors and evaluation of glutenite reservoir in China, hoping to provide some help for the exploration of glutenite reservoir in the future.
