When the bistatic active sonar system based on separation of sending and receiving is detecting a moving target, the direct wave, as a kind of strong interference, often floods the weak moving target, which seriously affects the detection performance of the sonar. Taking long single-frequency narrow-band pulse signals as research objects, the adaptive system identification structure in communication is applied to the underwater acoustic environment. First, an adaptive filter is used to estimate and cancel the direct wave in the time domain, then in the space domain, the generalized sidelobe canceller is used to suppress the residual direct wave. In this paper, the least mean square error algorithm in the time domain is combined with the sidelobe cancellation algorithm in the space domain, a direct wave suppression technology based on adaptive spatiotemporal filtering is used. Finally, the feasibility of the algorithm is verified with sea trial data.
