A low-profile frequency selective rasorber with a transmission band within absorptive band is presented. Outer and inner square-loop element loaded with resistors are designed respectively for lower and higher absorptive bands beside transmission band. Convoluted shape and low resistance resistors are adopted on outer square-loop resistive sheet for low profile. Simulated results indicated that the central frequency of transmission band is 5.25GHz, and frequency range where reflection under -10dB is from 2.8GHz to 7.9GHz. Both transmission and reflection properties are insensitive to incidence within ±30°. Profile thickness is 0.079 wavelength of the lowest frequency of absorptive band. A prototype was fabricated and measured. Good agreement between simulated and experimental results validates proposed FSR.
