In order to study the exploration potential of Saertu oil layers, Based on seismic sedimentology methods - stratal slices and phase transformation, the application is analyzed to judge sedimentary environment of Saertu oil layers. The study shows high resolution 3D covered seimic projects with large areas provide convenient and basic materials for seismic sedimentology , In the basis of fine explanation of sequence interfaces and subdivision isochronal sequence stratigraphic framework, a series of stratal slices are made in the studied area. These slices provides the distribution feature of different sedimentary systems, portray the ranges of delta and lake depositional systems in the different geologic historical periods. Depositional systems could be recognized after core facies, well-logging facies are corrected. Through the study of sedimentary facies and the analysis to the spatial evolution characteristic, and the recognition of distribution character of reservoirs of Nenjiang Formation is deepened. Oil exploration of Saertu Oil layers is directed. However, not all strong amplitudes stand for sandstones, either weak amplitude mudstones. the key techniques of seismic sedimentology are used to accurately depict the horizontal distribution pattern and scale of waterways in the lacustrine facies area of the first member of Nenjiang Formation in the central depression area, clarify the distribution law of waterway sand bodies, deepen the understanding of the distribution law of oil and gas reservoirs in the Saertu reservoir of Nenjiang Formation, and achieve good geological results, and enrich seismic shear. The application examples in the field of film interpretation have the value of popularization and application.
