Walking is important to a city because the pedestrian activity is an indication vitality of the city and relates to economic prosperity and safety. In this regard, collecting pedestrian data collection has become essential. This study aims to develop the method to quantify pedestrian distribution regarding not only quantity but also spatial and temporal distribution with the convenient calculation based on pedestrian count data to make it possible to incorporate pedestrian distribution into special event planning such as sports events and town festivals.
