Research on Vulnerability Assessment of Urban Agglomeration Development from the Perspec-tive of Complex System: A Case Study of the Urban Agglomeration in Central Yunnan

Urban development vulnerability is an effective measure to evalu-ate urban development resilience. At present, most studies on vulnera-bility of urban in China focus on a single level, and there is a lack of study on the comprehensive vulnerability evaluation of urban agglom-erations from the perspective of a complex system. Taking the urban agglomeration in central Yunnan as an example, this paper develops an assessment system from three aspects of environmental system, economic system and social system. Entropy method and back propa-gation neural network are used to evaluate the urban vulnerability of the urban agglomeration in central Yunnan from 2007 to 2016. The evaluation shows that the urban development vulnerability of the ur-ban agglomeration in central Yunnan has a declining trend on the whole, but the five urban groups have different problems. The evalua-tion results have reference significance for the planning and resilience development of the urban agglomeration in central Yunnan.
